The House.
Renting a guesthouse on Bali has many advantages compared to renting a hotelroom or apartment. A holiday in Rumah Tulip feels like staying in a small luxury hotel in Bali, but also a bit like being at home. Or even better, because (almost) everything is done for you by our friendly, well-trained staff, while you hardly see or hear them: cleaning, making up beds, dishwashing.
The house manager can even do the shopping for you.
You rent the house in its entirety. So there are no other guests, which ensures maximum privacy.

The house in Jimbaran can host up to 4 people.
Internet (WiFi) is available.
The main part of the house is occupied by the spacious living room. It is equipped with dining table, lounge area with sofas and a TV set.

Two bedrooms, all bedrooms have separately operated air conditioners. The two bedrooms are furnished with decorative double beds. Bed linen, towels and pool towels are available in sufficient quantities and included in the price.

Each bedroom has a separate bathroom with hot and cold water. The hot water is environmentally friendly heated by means of a solar collector on the roof.

The house has a small but functionally furnished kitchen with sink/countertop, storage room, gas stove and refrigerator.

Pool and Terrace, the right place to relax after a day of traveling over the island.
You can sit outside on the partially covered terrace to relax and enjoy the rest and peace and if you want to: take a dip in the pool.
Our Staff.
Our regular staff consists of one or two housemaids (depending on the size of the group), a gardener and a security guard.
This "staff" is included in the price. The housekeepers (pembantus) will prepare your breakfast seven days a week, clean the house, make the beds and if required take care of your daily shoppings.
The maintenance of the garden and pool are entrusted to our regular gardener. At the evening and night the security guard keeps an eye on the house, secures the guests and the house and if necessary is your contact person.
The friendly, well-trained staff of Rumah Tulip does (almost) everything for you during your vacation, while you barely see or hear them.

Meals.
The rent of the house does not include breakfast.
Usually guests on Bali eat 'outside', but sometimes one wants to have lunch or dinner in the house. Self-catering is always possible, the house has a small kitchen.
Shopping by yourself is easy, there is a warung (small grocery store) within walking distance of the villa. A little further you will find a "Pepito Express', this is a supermarket with Western (German / Swiss) foods.
Transport.
For our guests, it is possible to rent a motor cycle or car (eventually with driver). This is not included in the price! Ask information about prices and availability at our staff.
The surroundings.
Jimbaran is a rural village near Kuta. It is considerably spacier, less noisy, cooler and greener than the more touristic areas close to the beach, where the heat is often oppressive.
If you use a rental car (if possible including the driver, ask our staff information about renting a car) you are in few minutes at the beach or at the shops, pubs or restaurants in Jimbaran, Denpasar, Legian and Kuta. And the driver can bring you also to other beautiful places in Bali, to a lonely beach or other tourisic attractions like an unknown waterfall, crater lake or farming village in the tropical jungle.
