We have been visiting Bali for several years now and are always again overwhelmed by the beauty and mystique of Bali.
As a result, we had the idea to realize a permanent residence for us on this island. Primarily, the house, was built for our own use, but because we are not (cannot) there for the whole year we decided to make it available to guests.
Rumah Tulip is a newly built (holiday) house (2013/2014). And has, as mentioned, Dutch owners, It can accommodate up to 4 people.
The House is our Holiday House, situated in the southern part of Bali, on the outskirts of the small village of Jimbaran. The House is built on private grounds (surrounded by walls) of approximately 250 m2 and has a beautiful tropical garden with a nice swimming pool and plenty of privacy. It is fully equipped, the layout includes of a spacious living room, an open kitchen and two bedrooms each with a private bathroom. One of these bathrooms is also the General toilet/bathroom. The house has Internet access via WiFi.
Within a radius of 1 km are several (fastfood) restaurants, including McDonald's, KFC Piza Hut and Restaurant Betawi Jakarta (excellent local food).
For daily shoppings there is the local IndoMart (small supermarket about 300 m away from the house), the Nirmala super market (slightly larger, hence there is more choice) or - if you want something else then rice for a meal - the Pepito Express (a supermarket with a wide range of Western food). All these shops are within walking distance of the house (a maximum of 800 m by foot.)
West of the house is Jimbaran beach. The distance to the beach of Jimbaran (Jimbaran Bay with Cafe Seafood, a lovely beach where you can relax and maybe eat in one of the fish restaurants where you can eat fresh fish from the grill) is four about kilometers away from the house and can be reached within 20 minutes by car.
East of the house, at about 8 km you can find Nusa Dua/Geger Beach. A nice beach at a mostly calm sea with also many restaurants.
The ride to the airport (Tuban/Ngurah Rai) takes about 30 minutes. Hence our guest house is a perfect starting point to explore Bali.
